Enterprise Week 2006

Avonbourne had a fantastic Enterprise week. On the Monday 3 teams of year 9 pupils from Avonbourne and Porchester took part in the Make your Mark Challenge. The winner H2O designed a water themed events room complete with Jacuzzis and chocolate water fountains. On Thursday we visited the Social Challenge with 8 year 10 pupils. The girls really enjoyed the team building exercises and designing the eco home of the future. On the Friday year 11 pupils were involved in a Speed networking event where they had the opportunity to gain a snap shot of what qualities employers are looking for in school leavers. All pupils are ready for their next challenge soon, watch this space.
